Female Brown Tabby with Orange Domestic Short Hair Born Approx. October xxxx Melanie is an adult cat that can usually be found sprawled out on the cat bunk bed, or laying in a cubby hole in our Cat Room. She has pretty tabby markings and neat tufts on her ears that make her look like a mini-bobcat! She loves walking up to guests to tell them "hi". She was very shy when she first arrived at our shelter, but volunteers and staff have earned her trust, and as a result she is much more confident with the guests. Her new family will need to give her a bit of time to adjust as she has lived at our shelter for many years. She would need to be an indoor-only cat as she does not ever even venture to the porch attached to our cat room... she's a fan of the A/C! All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, AIDS/Leukemia tested, receive their first and second distemper/leukemia boosters, rabies shots, are dewormed and on flea prevention.
